Earlier, I logged a char at the entrance to the underworld, by the cannons. After rebooting my PC and trying to log her back in, I got the wee box with the annoying 'has encountered a problem and must close' message. After hurriedly checking, I discovered that it was a problem with this one char. So I paged a GM, explaining the problem, and duly sat around waiting. I received the following in reply
Please try the following:
-Find the UO client folder
-Open the "Desktop" folder inside
-Remove folder with the stuck character's name
-Log character in

I tried removing the folder; no joy. And the website with live support? Well, for the whole time I've been typing this post, it's been sitting there, circle jerking around and never actually loading. Waiting for... connecting too.... transferring data from... I've replied to the email I received along with the reply to my page and got a bog standard canned response giving me their support site, which is doing exactly the same thing. And their 'if you're having trouble logging onto our site' link is doing guess what? Yup, you got it, the same as the support site.
So, please, please, please, can someone come up with an email address or a website that actually works? It's that or I'm going to have to bite the bullet and page the GM's explaining that their links don't work and all I actually want one of them to do is move my char; because she can't hide, she has to time out, so if I try to log in they should be able to do that.
