dying soulforges?

Do you need regular tokuno dyes to dye the Soulforges? Or is it a furniture dye tub? I cant get the new stains to work. I've tried to dye in deed form and I always get a messege saying I can't dye it.

You need to craft the soulforge out of special wood, and it needs to have never been placed. So an unused special wood deed can be dyed with tot (and i'm assuming the new dyes) or slime dyed as well.

so it needs to be made out of ash, bloodwood, etc. first?
