Dyeing Night Eyes glasses?

Ahoy -

I seem to recall reading a post or two about dyeing some metal objects, but I can't seem to find it/them now. I have dyed other glasses in the past, but I cannot dye Night Eyes. I have tried every type of "dye" I can think of. Has anyone else had this issue or is it a known bug?

Night Eyes cannot be dyed via any means at this time. I've also tried all of the methods you mentioned without success. As far as I can tell, it is a bug that should be fixed, but it is way low on the priority list as functionally the glasses work great. I use them on two of my chars.

Well the set I have are rose colored (pink) so they must have been dyed at one point. I am sure you can see my dilemma. What self respecting pirate would pull into port wearing rose colored glasses?

FCR 3 on something other than a ring or brace... and they cost way less than a pair of Inquisitors. They also have NS and some DCI to boot.

Schuyler the normal colour for Night Eyes is pink, hence why most people would like to dye them.

FCR 3 on something other than a ring or brace... and they cost way less than a pair of Inquisitors. They also have NS and some DCI to boot.

And the resists are not TOO bad either. Always try to keep a pair in my pack to hand out to a true (young). Decent drop but price is not worth selling due to how frequently they drop.

Ahh well then that explains it. I could have sworn I have seen some that were not pink and assumed mine had been dyed at some point. Sounds like I have it the other way around. Thank you for setting me straight!
