You have to use oak( or better) a colored ore, and you can not have used the deed to be able to dye it.

You need to make whatever you are making (abbatoirs, etc) with "special" woods/metals (ie not plain) Oak is good for wood furniture =) Then dye the deed *before* it is ever used, and you should end up with a dyed deed, which will later turn into a dyed item =)

The dark blue makes for really nice house addons =D

can we get official word on if this is a bug or not ?
hate to see tons of people get banned for this now that you posted how to do it.

This is common info(and was so prior to "slimes").

Any crafter worth their salt/ any who have ever browsed homes and castles forum or use their crafters would know this too. Its hardly a secret.

How do you think pentagrams and such have been dyed toko colors. This is old info, so old in fact its multiple years old news.

The only new*snickers* development is that the devs have boned it again and now barding deeds can be dyed as a result.

It may be Fixed(I highly doubt that, as its an event to Dye things:p), but its hardly bannable.

It's always been possible with carpentry items, provided they were made in a special wood.

The only change is it now seems to be possible with the only smith item that comes as a deed. I don't know whether this is a bug in this publish or just that no one tried it before. I have seen someone praise the dark blue colour and wondered, 'how is that different from one made in shadow iron?'.

I've used tokuno dyes to dye deeds for years... works great and personally I prefer the copper color.... but then.... on a swampy may as well just use copper....

As far as the swampies go..... I think it's kinda neat however seems pointless since the swampie will lose his armor after awhile.....

But you've given me an idea about my bed.... dark blue would be nice.... now to find the stinking slimes again.

Oh heck! I forgot to make a couple of beds - and hopefully the dark blue will turn out really nice on them =)

I haven't seen a swampy done dark blue Petra, so not sure how close to shadow iron it is, but I have noticed on other addons etc, that the tone of the colour varies a lot, and a lot of things it *is* really close to shadow iron, or dying with the black tok dye =)
