Is it true if an item/rare wont insure it means its duped?

I highly doubt that is true, but if it is 'newbified' maybe that is the reason you can't insure whatever it is?

well "it" was a kettle of caramel that i sold. The buyer was unable to insure it and i didnt know why. I had never tried to insure it, just always had it locked down. Then today i was told that if a item is not able to be insured then it means its duped....so figured i would ask here.

are they normally insurable? I dont think you have anything to worry. Lot of things are not insurable.

There are only 2 kinds of dupes.

Appearance dupes where stats are not carried over.

True Dupes, Stats and appearance carry over.

Both are insurable.
