does anyone know the origin of this item? and why it is this color?

Might be the new natural dyes. They can dye almost anything so thats my guess. Also looks the same color as the black natural dyes make.

one of the new dyes is metal colored, that might work... tho I don't understand bleach not working

Thats actually a reward from one of the puzzles in the Abyss... the Experimental Room one. I have a few myself.

I think the 'plain' dye reverts things back to its original color.

Bleach should have worked as well, but perhaps it won't work on the newer items.

Scouring Toxin works on these. Makes them look like the old rares...

The reason bleach wont work is because it can only dye things that pigments of tokuno can. Since this isnt dyeable with the pigments then is wont be dyable with the bleach either.

I found some plain dye seem to work but still not the color i wanted scouring toxin sounds like an idea tho i have never heard of it.
btw, does anyone know the going price on this item??
