Dropping Wrestling, adding Spellweaving or Imbuing?

Been gone from UO for about 4 years. Just returned, and purchased the Staff of the Magi. As long as I keep it insured (or get an item bless deed or use my personal bless deed), I don't really see the need for gm wrestling anymore. Mage weapons kind of eliminated that need I think, thankfully:)

Anyway, template is 110 Magery (working towards 120), 100 Eval, 100 Med, 100 Alchemy, 100 Inscription, 60some resist, and till now, 100 wrestling. I'm wanting to add either Spellweaving or Imbuing, but not sure which. As for Imbuing.. don't know if I really need it on my account or not, as I have a Legendary Smith who's soon to also be a legendary tailor, with GM tinkering and carpentry. Any recommendations though on which I should choose between Spellweaving or Imbuing? As I said, I've been gone for a few years, and a lot has changed. Not even sure if I'm going to be doing mostly pvp or pvm with him. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and maybe an explanation why! Thanks:)

Well if your going to do Pv(M/P) then you will like the additional spells you will get from spellweaving. WoD is great for PvM

Imbuing is handy on a mule char or can be combined with mystcism to enhance mystcism spells but on its own its not going to help a fighting char template

Any reason you aren't going for 120 Med, 120 Eval or more resist? Also, I have 120 Focus on my mage and it helps with manna and stamina regen.

Also, I have Chiv on my mage so he can use Remove Curse.

To answer your question... I tried Spellweaving with my mage but just wasn't impressed with it. A friend added Mysticism to her mage and is having a great time with that.

Yep, cause I don't have powerscrolls for the GMed ones yet, and I just haven't worked resist all that much, lol. Also, soulstones weren't out yet when I quit playing UO.. after reading up on them, I think my dilemma is solved. My 6th character slot isn't being used, and I plan on getting a 7th.. so there'll be plenty of room to get all the skills I want now, and get to legendary in many of them as well, and swap as needed. Will still keep the basic "theme" of each character though.
