Dropping a Skill

Is there anyway by any chance to just totally drop a skill, *poof*, and its gone.
I figure its just by raising another skill and setting the one you want gone to down, but maybe there is a soulstoning trick that would just get rid of it?

Arrrrr, use yer soulstone fragment, then flush it. And it don't even take off a charge!

Well if you have a full soulstone, dump the skill onto it, then there's an option to dump it...
