Yes, it takes into account training points. Very simple.
Some pets are stronger on paper, but limited with what they can train. Some pets are underrated cause of built in skills.

I know you didnt write any increment rules, just thought I'd nitpick a little.
The bidincrements are usually 10m for stuff over 50-100m.

Otherwise it's a bit silly if you can just increment 1-5m a time.

There is nothing wrong with having no minimum increments. Everyone has their opinion on the matter and there is no correct or incorrect.
