I have a friend that has played for a very long time and he has these vials of dragons blood. They are green and look like the ml ingredient mucalent. He asked me about them and I cant find anything. Any info would be greatly appreciated. What are they from? How much would they be worth? etc..

Unless I am mistaken Dragon's Blood was the "ingredient" for the noob quest in Old Haven that the old guy would send you after. If was nowhere near rare then but may be considered one now as you can no longer get it due to Old Haven goin bye-bye. Still don't see it being worth much tho.

No he has had it for at least 6 years, im pretty sure thats before haven. He said it had something to do with an event or quest in the Hedgemaze where all the monsters were some sort of "posessed" and some were green.

It was duped last year, but still ranges from about 5-10m depending on how badly someone needs it to complete their set.

Im new to this stuff, and he is also. Its definately 100% NOT duped, he has 4 vials. Maybe 5 but we misplaced one he had set out as deco at one point =( Is it possible to prove the ones he has are real or doesn't it matter?

Mostly wrong. Dragons Blood was one of the original early pre-aos Necro reagents (though there was no use for them and necromancy didnt yet exist)that spawned on appropriate monsters way way back in the day. Never had anything to do with haven or special quests, but Yes it has been heavily duped several times over the years- especially easy to run up in duped quantities because since it is stackable.

on no other that aspen ur all wayyyyy off,,, back way the hell before aos when em's and gm's actualy roamed the country side of uo an event was held,,,the reward for said event was pagon regs. i know this happened on chessy, and the guy was rewarded 100 of each (may have happened on other shards as well). any who they were real rares ,, i mean still rare and all but like aspen said around last october they got duped horribly. so i hope that clears it up for ya

If he is talking about this type:

and it is this color:

Then that is from noob quest that used to start in Old Haven. That is where the vial in the box came from.

Kylie if you really believe that is from a Haven Newbie Quest, I am sure there are quite a few people who will dispose of it for you. Every trader who has ever shown me the rare Dragon's Blood has shown that pixel patch.

*scratches head*

I actually got that one during that quest over 3 years ago. Unless someone just happened to ground it in the location at the "raised house" around where all the horde minions were. And I lucked up and snagged it??
Not sure but I know where that paticular vial came from. I never wouldda paid 5-10m for it back then cuz I was flat broke

But no, I rarely sell anything I have in my pixel collection.

1999. FoA quest leading into the release of T2A. The final event was a battle into the center of the Hedge Maze. When it was over, several players on each shard who had made significant contributions throughout the event arc were rewarded with bags of necromancy reagents for a necromancy skill that never ended up being introduced. Dragon's Blood was one of the reagents.

By the time they actually came up with a Necromancy skill with AoS, the original necromancy reagents were considered rare, and in order not to upset the rares collectors, they introduced the current reagents that are used for the Necromancy skill. Unfortunately, they used some of the same art, and ended up breaking Serpent Scales, but whatever.
