Drachenfels and Europa Maintenance time

Heads Up! (Although you have probably already noticed). Our facility in Dortmund, Germany will be going through intermittent maintenance until midnight East Coast Time. Verizon is performing rolling maintenance at the facility, and we cannot be certain how this will effect players time in game, so logins will be disabled during the maintenance time.

This will effect both Europa and Drachenfels shards. We apologize for the interruption in gameplay.

We are hoping the cycle will close sooner than later, and get you all back into the game.

why did you take the servers down, it appears to ping fine. ?

Cal doesn't work for or make the rules for the ISP provider. The ISP shut down for maintenance.

Exactly... It's work on the local network where UO's servers are hosted. It is not an EA/Mythic/UO issue (though the route the data takes from you to UO is interrupted during their maintenance).

european servers are fine.. i suggest you look at your ISP before blaming Mythic.
