Doom "Wolfgang" area

They'd said last year that the new Doom "Wolfgang" area was going to be used in the expansion. I just checked down there in Doom for the first time in a good while. Has anyone else noticed that that area is now closed off, with a sign saying the area is "unstable"?

This either means something is happening "Soon," or its been back burnered.

I don't expect any game-wide fiction progression until after the holiday break though.
