Doom recipes such as cuffs of the archmage, feudal grips, etc. The success rate os 5% on these recipes. When you fail, what do you lose? For example cuffs of the archmage requires: cloth, dark saphires, midnight bracers, blood of the dark father. I assume you lose only the cloth. Can anyone confirm this?
