well i spent last night wee into the morning all alone in doom. count 12 dark fathers and every one of the rooms 10 times or so ( a couple dark fathers spawned twice) I am pretty sure i was on the top attackers list as I was the ONLY one there all that time. I burned out all my pof and every supply I had drug in and had to leave. Ticked off, I came back and ran through 5 more dark fathers. Nada. even if the points reset, isn't 100% monopoly on all the points from the first run at around 300 luck enough darn time to have gotten somewhere in the vicinity of a 1 in 3 chance? This was stupifyingly insane, as if the points DO stick (which they should) that was 17 dark fathers and roughly 75 lesser bosses, so that would have to mean--even on a percentage basis point thing, if one dark father raises the chance 2% and a miniboss raised it, uh, 1/3 of a percentage point, that would be 34% +25% or 59%, at which point it would be astronomically impossible not to have gotten an arti somewhere in the last 5 dark father runs. (24% + say 1/3 of 50 around 17% =41% at 30 more rolls for 25 mini bosses and dark fathers, each raising 'points'.
All that means it is either skewed messed up or doesn't work as designed. even at half those values (1% and 1/6) the last two runs would have been 12 rolls at around 26-30% the values for DF and the mini bosses must be something more like .5 percent and .01 percent to make that understandable.
Of course, when I go back in i'll get one right off, but lord. What a horrorshow.
yeah, i was running around when they started 'point' system with like 25 people, would get one every 5 trips around which took all of about 30 minutes. Perhaps the answer in this is that there is not a set amount of 'points' per critter that are divided up as much as they seemed to say it was that way, but that if you whack a df with a redeemer 5 times in a giant 30 player killfest you get the same amount of points as if you killed it all by yourself. More likely.
