[Archery] Does UBS work with archery?

For giggles i recently tried a nice Use Best Weapon skill kama and had a hard time hitting anything with 115 archery.

So, i was wondering if UBS only applies to melee weapons?

UBWS only applies to mace fighitng, fencing, and swordsmanship. UBWS does not apply to archery. Sorry.

Here is an interesting fact.

While UBWS does not work for archery, an archer can still attempt the special moves on a UBWS item. Sure, you'll never hit to get the special off... but you can try!

Go ahead, take your archer and use bleed on a mongbat!
