Does Protection spell still lower casting speed and resisting spells?

Looking in game at the description of protection, it makes no mention of reducing casting speed by 2 anymore, and when I cast it i check my characters stats and his casting speed is sitll unchanged, 3 with, 3 without.

It does say it reduces resisting magic spells, but when I also cast protection I notice no change to my resisting spells skills

it reduces your resist (25%? maybe 20), and sets your casting speed to 0.

Why does it not update my resist skill or my character stats under casting speed then?

There is no listing for casting speed on your stat sheet. Unless maybe KR version has it. But then I would say drop KR cuz it lacks terribly. Now if you have zero resist to start with then it wont drop any. It will only lower resist if you have resist.

You may just ignore this sentence, OK?

In KR you see FC/FCR but they can't go below 0, so even with 0 FC on your suit, you will still see 0 and not - anything.
I don't know if resists spells is shown correctly if you click the "show modified" button, will check it today. But the info on the spell indicates the change.
