Does it pay to have tactics and anat 120 or should it be 90?

If you plan to use healing to heal, 120 anat vs 90 is pretty useful I think, for chance to cure poisons as well as damage healed.

Again though... you ask questions that aren't specific enough. What are the rest of the skills you've got, or plan to have? What do you think IS useful to spend that remaining 60 points on?

Tuan, has a good point :)
From experience i can tell, that there usually arent room for that many 120ps'es.
The reason for this is that in PVP u really need the max mana reduction that comes from the 300 combat point thing (..read more about it in the sticky guide we here..)
I usually roll with gm ana, tact, heal.
Modern templates dish ana, for alchemy..but thats awhole other debate..
As tuan said...show us youre template, and tell us more about what kind of warrior u are building.

I guess you didn't like the answers you got(or didn't) in the thread where you asked about resist, so you decided to try to ask the same question in a different thread.

I give you a  for the effort.

Step 1: those don't add to 720, only 715, so go ahead and max yourself out to 720.

I'd say one thing that jumps out at me for sure is that you're leaving 8% chance to parry on the table by having neither parry nor bushido at 100. If you use evasion, this gets multiplied. I would probably trade 10 anat for 10 parry, as I'd say avoiding 1 in 10 hits is more important than doing 1 more damage per hit.

120 swords
120 bushido
60 parry + what does fit in +skill
120 resist
120 healing
90 anatomy
90 tactics

Samurai build i run on siege sometimes. Doesnt kill anyone, isnt my intention, but has solid defence.

For normal shards you are probably better of with 80 poison instead parry and keep 120 bushido for nervestrikes with a bokuto. Would probably be a good starter template to get practice as it has some robustness.
I believe most pvp dexxers do just as much anatomy+tactics to get to 35 damage armor ignore.Leaves more skillpoints for something more offensive.
But to get practice i would choose something that is less of a glasscannon, you will live longer and learn more.

I still haven't figured whats so great about bushido for pvp like a lot of people say. what difference does 100 to 120 make and what spells out of the few are even good for pvp?

I suspect that 60% parry and the ability to parry spells comes in handy in PvP.

You have to be more specific.
critical with LS scales with bushido
nerve strike on bok scales with bushido.
damage with ww weapons like wakazaki scales with bushido.
You get more control over your lesser hiury with 120 bushido vs 100.
I posted a template for you in another thread.
More defence chane with more parry+bushido
..
..
Hope it helped.
