Does Imbueing *or* Focus boost Mysticism?

I've read a while back that Focus OR Imbuing will affect Mysticism in place of Eval Int, is this true? The Stratics Mysticism info says just Focus.

Mysticism Changes

* Imbuing is not the only skill associated with Mysticism now. Players can use EITHER their Focus skill or Imbuing skill. Evaluate Intelligence no longer has any effect on a Mystic’s spell power

I'm trying to update the spell descriptions to reflect the recent changes. Problem being, I don't understand them and have been unable to formulate a coherent new description of what the effected spells now do.
