[Fishing] Does fishing level influence level and quality of fished up chests ?

Now that fishing can go beyond 100 and up to 120, I was wondering whether the skill level one has influences the level and quality of the fished up chest.

Anyone knows ?

Also does fishing beyond 100 has any influence in fishing up stuff like rarer nets, white pearls etc. ?

I have no idea if it influences anything since i've only been fishing about a week but if it does then that means i'll be even madder if the shard reverts and I lose that valkyrie armor I got on my first mib tonight at 84 fishing.
