does Dex affect veterniary?

I was trying to figure out if dexterity affects the speed of being able to heal a pet. I know it does when healing a person... but does it affect the speed of the veterinary skill? I checked here: Veterinary - UOGuide, the Ultima Online encyclopedia but I did not see any mention of the dexterity skill in the article.


I had always thought it did... but I think I only thought that because of the way it affects the healing skill on humans. Does anyone know for sure? If so... is there an article in stratics or something showing so?

Negative, Dex does not effect heal time with vet.

Well sometime it used to have, I only remember that you had to have 40 dex so it wasnt that much. Then I kept 40 dex on my tamer for years I might still do not sure actually.

only need high dex on a tamer if ur tamer is not a mage but a warrior
