Always been curious re Macing dropping a foes stam.

Does this help vs boss types who are mainly mele, eg parox, rikki, putrifier?

Is this a good enough reason to go macing?

Well, all damage lowers stamina. You can see this with fast-moving bosses that move slower when they're at 20% health.

Whether it affects the actual swing speed? Dunno, haven't tested that.
Whether macing lowers stamina significantly more? Dunno.

A Tamer with Animal Lore would be able to test this best.

I don't think this information applies anymore. Its old old stuff, back when they first gave weapons specials, cept they just happened rather than being selcted. Back them maces tore through armor (if you saw a parry macer you just left because they were so hard to kill and ruined your stuff) and they did more stamina damage.

I think all melee weapons are exactly the same now.

i have a 120 macer and i feel it way to slow of wep selection i personally perfer swords. I have heard about people running diamond maces though. i would tell you to look at the price of 120 scrolls there a reason for everything price 120 swords 6 million 120 macing 500k. TYR

it depends on what your doing pvp or pvm.......personally the weapon special combos on macing weapons rock for pvp.....i started with swords on my sampire and then switched to macing....i like it way better
