If you're wondering...I spent a lot of time in the Archives yesterday trying to find a post I made a while back. Never did find it but I was looking through some old posts and it brought up a lot of memories. Made me wonder how much everyone really remembers. I probably can't answer a good chunk of these lol.

some of my most favorite memories are when my sim twin, Sharla helped me by telling me the island I now have was available after Daddi did a city clean up.

Another one is when Eminem surprised me on my birthday with Cujo, my Saint Bernard, after I accidentally deleted the first one

And then, there was the time that Cujo and I won a pet race at Gracie's Garage! That was so funny!

I don't remember a whole lot from Beta. I was in-between 3 games at the time. I was enjoying Making Magic, Toontown and then Sims Online.

I had a few sims get caught in roll-backs and other bugs that I just couldn't get into it. I started logging in more constantly once the game went live.

My first permanent sim that is still in existance was in Calvin's Creek and the sim was named Henny Henlopen. She lived as a roomie in a skill house with a jock named 'Mike'. I kinda made the rounds to different servers trying to find my 'nitch'. I landed in Fancy Fields and enjoyed it but it wasn't until I created in Mount Fuji that I finally found a lasting and permanent home.

I kinda think that's when my 'sim' life really began. Prior to MF, I was just about ready to quit the game. I had sims in various cities so I could hang out and chat with some family members who live long distance, but other than that i just couldn't get into the game.

My first real estate venture was in Mount Fuji was Sherwood's Forest which was renamed "Khashoggi's". I did have a sim BF for a bit but mostly just 'friends'. My main sim finally married her long time sweetheart and has considered herself married ever since.

I really adored my 'family' in MF and miss them all. It would be glorious if I logged in one day and they were all back.

My best friend ever was Jenny Fever. My sim's double-mint twin. Always there and always with a smile and hand of friendship.

I've never actually quit TSO. I've take breaks a week here or there for health reasons or vacation. Otherwise, I've always been on TSO. I've been know to play for 48 hours straight sometimes.

I've had a few 'stalkers'. Not sure if I'd call them 'enemies'. Guess they think more highly of me than I'd prefer maybe? LMAO

I think the most memorable even was the proposal from my long time 'flirt'. We were in the home of one of our mutual friends and he kept saying..."Have you read my bio?" and I said "Sure!"...'yada yada ....Robin and so and so...slap and tickle, great gals..etc. etc...' and after awhile the hostess said "PLEASE READ HIS BIO AGAIN!!!!" and I was floored and there was his proposal and after staring in shock for awhile I was 'prodded into speaking' and of course I said yes. Then we kinda hung out for a few days and everyone kept asking over a period of days when we were going to finally get married. Finally one night he says "Why don't we get married tonight?" and I said...."I would ..but...here in fuji? where in the world will we find a chapel?" And he was like "Jenny's at one right now". OMG talk about ambush wedding...but it was fun. He was always so funny to play with. Never knew when he'd run in wearing a pink dress or what he was going to say to make me bust out laughing. He was the greatest simmer!

Let's see, I have more accounts than some and less then others.

I never really cared much for Stratics until a few years ago. I made an account, didn't like it and then couldn't remember what my log in was, so I made another one. When I started running out of things to do in the game, I came here and started quacking, especially when I lost one of my mains to a disasterous move from FF to AV. There was no place to turn but here for help.

Sometimes I tell myself I'm 'QUITTING STRATICS' but then I just take a step back,take a break and then come back. Things being argued look so silly sometimes after you take a break.

I view the boards a few times a day depending on what's going on.

1. I belive it was Summer 2006, but then I quit.. came back several weeks after...
2. My VERY first sim was created in Blazing Falls, but the city seemed boring, so I created in Alphaville.

Ahh, good idea for a thread...and to answer your questions

I was a Christmas Newbie back in December 2002.
My first city was JP, but I like to say it was TC.
The only house I remember vividly is Chalkboard Sanctuary in BF.
I called BF home, and did until the end of it.
I don't really remember TC and JP friends, but BF friends...I could go on forever listing them, but almost right from the beginning the Dobalina's are who I called my friends (I was Valarie Nicole {and many others} Dobalina for a long long time).
I had no enemies, because I'm that lovable

My first sim love...well I left him for someone else, and the person I left the other for left me for someone else...and no sim loves, only crushes, after that.
I never got married, just engaged twice.
lol, I've never really had a property of my own, but yet again, Chalkboard Sanctuary was my home for a very long time (until all the other Dobalina's left the game

) But recently Letta's Creativity (also in BF) was my home.
And Letta's and Chalkboard Sanctuary, both exist as far as I know.
And duh Chalkboard Sanctuary and Letta's were my favorite houses.
My favorite time...Well, I loved when all the Dobalina's were around, we had so much fun together...in fact when Bob went to go see Pebbles in RL me and Noria turned his house into "Barbies House" ... very very pink, and some obsene pictures drawn on the roof and ground, lol.

I started posting awhile ago, but I stopped for awhile and lost my account name and Password due to the E-mail I had getting hacked

I don't suppose anyone will care, or have the stamina to read this, so I'll just write it for my own sake... It's kinda fun.


1. When you first started playing?

Well, it was in spring or summer 2003. I was pretty active at the national Sims forums at that time, became friends with some people there who were playing tso.
It was very exiting, being my first ever online game.
I was amazed that all the other sims were played by actual people.


2. Where your first city was?

Alphaville.


3. What house you first went to?

Nope I don't remember that.
But the only guy I knew in the game was a little guy from the boards.
I started the game and managed to stalk him, and he was on some money lot playing some drink-till-you-pee-game or something...
I was really scared when I clicked on the lot.


4. Who your first friend was?

Guess that would be him.
He invited me to be his roommate and gave me a Tortoise Shell cat, that I called Isildur.

That cat later disappeared since we were doing pet pulls for people and he was constantly afk and using me as slave labour, lol. I accidentally traded the cat to Ed Gorham. He was a new player then... Yea I've seen all those days he has on him now...
Off I went to try and find him and get Isildur back...


5. Who your first enemy was?

Guess it was one of those little 14-yearold girls this guy surrounded himself with.
They were none too happy to have to compete for his attention with me I think. Not too many from our country that played back then.


6. How many times your sim got married?

Once, and that was a nutty story in itself.

Well his house was called Mazetress, I think.
I went on to manage the pet store section at Sidewalk Sale.
I think my first own property was Age of Aquarius, a store that I built up to be number one for several months. Still kinda proud of that, even though it was crazy work (#1 store without afk).

I didn't change Aquarius that much, mostly changing wallpaper and stuff.
It was always a store, too.


9. Which houses were your favorite?

I really can't remember.
The Sidewalk Sale probably, very nice people there (and at least 2 nutcases but wth)

10. What events were your favorite?

Best event we ever had, was probably our "Talent show".
We all performed silly things, from stand up comedy to Abba to Ghost Pirates of the Caribbean. Silly fun was had by all.


11. Your favorite in game memory?

I don't know.
It was all so hysterical.

Might have been that time when we made some "pretend mafia sims" and went to BF and fooled all the mafia members there, that we were some big bad new mafia that had shown up... Jinx and Jazzy or something...
It was ridiculous but exciting and completely nuts.

There's also some crazy weddings and the time we made the "Swedass" club.

Maybe about 3.

2 times. And immediately lost all the old sims.
It feels a bit sad that EA have to erase your old sims now that storage space doesn't cost anything. Other games such as wow, will never erase your old characters even if you quit the game for years.

A long, long time. During the store days we took turns sleeping even, 2 hours by the computer, 2 hours sleep, and so on. Insane.

Guess you can see that by how old my account here is.
But I didn't post a lot back then.

I view these boards way too much.
A few hours in total I suppose. Bit more if I'm keeping the store open and need to do something at the same time.
But I don't really think the boards are "worth it", since people seem to be replying mostly to stupid threads / whining threads and such, there's too little of substance here. Also many people seem to be posting just to show themselves and / or attain some sort of fame. But maybe something one writes on these forums can change things too, who knows.

Funny story. I actually first landed in Dan's Grove. I went to a typing money house and was thoroughly confused by what was going on. I didn't know how to move my sim around either. lol. Finally I asked (in bubbles - didn't know how to do CTRL-H) which city was had the biggest gay &amp; lesbian population. The roomie told me Fancey Fields (lmao) so I deleted the sim and started there. And thus I began playing.
