Do you have to be on the Zhah quest to get the gargish documents?

Subject line says it all, I think.

Basically I'm trying to use another character to farm the documents for Galen.

And I don't know if I'm wasting my time or not.

A very good question, however i doubt anyone has gone there without getting the quest first.

They dont as far as I know, the documents drop on the corpse of the daemons whether you have the quest or not, pretty much like the Blackrock Golems and the Epiphany Armor pieces. But you do have to kill the daemons with the character who has the quest to have a slay count.

Galen's had the kill count for awhile now.

The documents are proving difficult.

Oddly enough my character with Bushido can kill them a lot more efficiently, in every way imaginable, than can Galen.

Confirmed....Got a document on the character who is farming on Galen's behalf but is not on the quest himself.
