Yep! Same sort of systemjust curious, these are the doom timers http://uotreasurehunters.com/QA/doom_rares.php?menu=3
One thought.Yep! Same sort of system
But what many people might not know is that we don't actually assign the "Artifact Rarity" directly - the rarity is determined by a formula that uses the "time in seconds to spawn."
That means of the items on the list, there are *ranges* of time that resolve to an Artifact level. The ones that say "1 day" aren't necessarily exactly one day, but within a certain range that classifies it as such.
I am very relieved to hear that the spawns are more random. Static spawns usually lead to farming and scripting, random spawns give everyone the chance to succeed, with a bit of luck. The ones that say "1 day" aren't necessarily exactly one day, but within a certain range that classifies it as such.
spawns have never been "static" per se, a example is a rarity 10 item, the spawn time has ALWAYS been 28-40 days. those math nuts can figure out spawn tables from that information.I am very relieved to hear that the spawns are more random. thats still a wide rangespawns have never been "static" per se, a example is a rarity 10 item, the spawn time has ALWAYS been 28-40 days. those math nuts can figure out spawn tables from that information.
like Draconi said it is broken down to seconds, another helpful hint is that 1 "spawn cycle" is 15 minutes and 3.25 seconds. with that information and the rarity 10 times that can be broken down into minutes/seconds that will give you spawn range for all levels stalables.thats still a wide range
