This is not a forum about a videogame where we kill each other. DO NOT TELL OTHER PLAYERS THEY NEED TO DIE!!! You will be personally attacking them and breaking the ROC.

I am sure this will confuse some of you... thinking, WTF? But, DO NOT under any circumstances tell someone to "die by the smite of your sword" or to "die in a fire" or to "die".

Now, now... I understand this is UO lingo that has been around for more than 13 years. After all, some of the phrase like "die in a fire" started in UO when a beta player killed lord british with... fire field.

Term used by UO guild Evil Bastages in the 1990’s to express hatred/worthlessness to another player. Many other guilds followed throughout the years.

The term originally came about when a player was trapped in a temporary wall as he/she was burning. Evil Bastage member told him/her to die in a fire as he/she burned. It stuck from that point forward.
Person: Why did you kill and loot my body?

Urban Dictionary: die in a fire

I know I for one will never ever tell another player of Ultima Online that they should die for any reason. We do not kill players in UO. We hold hands and smother each other with love, peace and flowers. For real.
