Discussion: Which is the best item from the Vesper Museum Collection?

Hi all!

I know, the above mentioned collection is outdated. But I am curious: If you could choose 3 items for free - which ones are the most appealing to you? The best ones these days?

1. Nystul's Crystal Ball - UOGuide, the Ultima Online Encyclopedia
2. Gypsy Headdress - UOGuide, the Ultima Online Encyclopedia
3. Jester Hat of Chuckles - UOGuide, the Ultima Online Encyclopedia
4. Geoffrey's Axe - UOGuide, the Ultima Online Encyclopedia
5..Clainin's Spellbook - UOGuide, the Ultima Online Encyclopedia

These I think are the five best items from the Museum. If I had to pick only three, then I would go with 1, 3, & 5.

Hmmm... 2 and 3 seem weird, there are better loot items/craftables nowadays. The spellbook is okay, but not blessed on SP.

I thought the FC/FCR-shield is still useful as it allows You to combine it with great other arties/loot (eg jewelry).

But the Crystal Ball is nice

2 and 3 can be blessed using clothing bless deed on prodo shards only

Are you certain those can be blessed on Siege with a cbd? Better confirm that. I've only been able to bless blank items with those here.

You used to be able to CBD the Gypsy Headdress many years ago on Siege but they changed that.
If an item has magical properties or resists over 50 then you can´t bless them with a CBD (on Siege).

Yea, thank you! So, this collection has only some good deco pieces and the titles. The FC/FCR-shield is okay, but not fantastic. I used to like it some years ago... Sad.

Back when these came out the Axes were great esp with the lumberjack bonus. I still have a complete set of them for nostalgia

Only the Deco. The collections are another old system in dire need of an update.

Does anyone even use ANY of these items regular in their armor/suits, aside from the Chaos Shield w/ FC1? I have two toons which use the Chaos shield for the faster casting and recovery, but most of that other stuff is outdated and not viable.

I would say the Chaos shield, spellbook and Sword of Justice

I have two toons which use the Chaos shield for the faster casting and recovery, but most of that other stuff is outdated and not viable.

I used the Chuckles hat in my luck suit for a while (and I currently have that suit on Atl), and I had Clainin's book when I first reactivated. Didn't even remember having it, tbh. I use the Shield in my SDI suit, although I could probably go without it if I get a nice 1/3 jewelry set with max SDI on both - it currently uses the Compassion's Eye.
