Alright. Lets do something constructive. Lets work on different ways to inform players on

EM Events
Player Events
Directions
How to work with the EMs


And anything else that you in the shard community think that we are lacking in. Don't personally attack anyone or attack the way something is done. Just say

"I really think this needs to change and here is how"

Through working together. I believe we will come up with new ways to do the things listed above and implement them not just on stratics but, in game as well. I know what we will come up with will be GREAT! Because this year alone look at all we have come up with so far.

IN-GAME RUNE CALENDAR IDEA

Okay so this is my plan to help with communication and promotion of Player
Events and EM Events. This idea was thought up by Lady Angelica who runs
Angelicas Attic in Luna. I just helped implement it and made it look nice.

Now it will have seven Tables
One table for Monday
One table for Tuesday
Etc

Now if you don't have the space to set it up like that even three tables can
work. It just may have a large stack of runes hehe.

We have several what I call "Static" events that run every week on the
same day and time. These are Player run events and EM Hall Of Commons.
I don't add meetings to this because if we added meetings just imagine how
many guilds and communities have them. It would spam out the calendar.

Now here is a list of all the Events listed. These runes would most likely not
have to be kept updated. The names on the runes are the same as what is
listed below. I don't use runes books because it cuts out being able to
describe your event, day and time etc.​

Every Thursday Night 8:00pm EST Cimmerian Pass Auction House
(Hit Or Miss, Giveaways & More)

Every Thursday 8:20pm EST Blue Light Tavern Adventures Night
(Champ, Peerless And More)

Every Saturday at 7:00pm EST SHE Auction House
(Lotto, Prizes And More!)

Every Friday Night 7:00pm EST KFC Auction House

Now my plan is to have one other table that just focuses on EM Events.
Giving the Day, Time and the Rune Marked to the location it will take place
at.

Other Player event runes can be added as well. If you give at least a four
day notice on your event you will give the community a longer time to get
it locked down on the calendar.

This can be done in more then one place and I highly recommend those wishing to promote the community working together and supporting each other to have one.
As I said before I will speak to Oda Nobunga to see if we can get one up at a Luna
Vendor mall. Since everyone goes there.

I have this setup on the steps because you don't have to load the house to see it.
It will be seen by just walking by. You don't have to have it on the steps but if
someone randomly passing by sees it and wants to go to a player run event or
a EM event they will just remember to check your rune calendar from time to time.

My suggestion is this....have a prompt everytime the player logs into chespeake that has the events updated. This will require scrolling down the page and hit a check mark to show youve seen it. That way everyone will see it everytime the log in and not have to go hunt for the info.

That would require programming, if the EMs are programmers as a career, they certainly do not do it for EA. That's a good idea, but should be proposed on UHall, then again, there's already the initial welcome page that people just hit OK on as it is.
