Disconnections

First they make you spend a lot of money on various armors, scrolls, weapons and dozens of other things and then you go to play and zacchete, disconnect. Without even explaining why. You really don't want to play. You never know what's going to happen. Don't be ashamed?????

There is no need to do anything. It disconnects for no apparent reason. Or at least without us knowing what 'they' are doing

I've noticed it happening the most when I log multiple accounts. I have a feeling this is one of the steps they're putting in place to try and slow down botters. Unfortunately, it's the honest players that get caught up paying some of the price - but sometimes the goal is worth the inconvenience. We will see.

I generally have atleast three accounts logged in at once. I haven't had any disconnect issues in a long time.

I realize not all situations are the same, just throwing mine out there.

There have been many posts but everyone now passively accept this thing and nobody complains anymore. Apart from, when I get angry because after a tiring day I start playing and practically I can't

My 2 cents and a suspected cause. Disconnects were a constant with me for maybe 2-3 months, just kinda got used to it.

As mentioned above using more than 1 client seems to increase the disconnects but, the one that truly irked me was this...

I logged into an endless journey account last month, purely to get additional BODs as I was going through one of those phases and...

Banned, use of 3rd party program.

I've used a 3rd party program for decades to make some tasks easier on my 2 main paid accounts yet within 10 minutes of creating a new character on an endless journey account, it's banned.

Here's the kicker, the 3rd party program was being used on my main accounts, not the endless journey.

Absolutely laughable, happy to ban a free account but if its paid? Turn a blind eye.

It's fairly clear to me they have the ability to scan what you are running now which i dont like. Either way, I ended my subscriptions for them, it was as good a reason as any to finally quit and the disconnections were becoming too annoying. So yes, I've banned myself since they were incapable of doing it!

I stopped Pvping when AoS came so I'm not one of those PvP cheats, I used the 3rd party program for quality of life improvements things that should have been features decades ago!

Anyway that's my take on it, take it as you will but I think there is more to the disconnects than meets the eye.

I had it happen twice last night at an EM event on LS (and the second time cost me the EM drop) although technically one was a crash-to-desktop where the client quit in the blink of an eye, and the other was a network problem that left the client still loaded. Only one account logged in (and only one character used for the hour before it happened). Both times, the screen was just absolutely packed with players and/or monsters, and I'm on the EC on a 24-inch screen (a powerful computer though). My guess is it was too many players/monsters/items on the screen.

It happens to me even if I am alone, not in the city full of people or in the dungeons. I don't think it's a valid justification, sorry

I don't know that I would go that far, I use EUO for a keep active and and that's been running fine for years.

*I stay logged in all day at my house... wana go deeper down the rabbit hole. I'll explain more

I'm just gonna say without going down a rabbit hole, something to do with their servers in my opinion.

Too isolated for bot related activities.

Yet another disconnection. Luckily I was taking a break to go to bed. Excuse me but I've really reached the limit...... What if the various emulators of Run Uo were better? What are there also Italians? On Uo Dreams I was administered centuries ago.
I'm really tired.....
