disappearing soul gems

Has anyone else found that their stash of soul gems has disappeared? Sometime in the last two or three days, an entire box of soul gems that was secure in my house went empty. I have no "friends" or "co-owners" that I don't know (as in "are my own accounts"), and the box has been locked down and secure (and full of soul gems) for some time now. I am not that concerned, and so far nothing else is missing that I have found...just wondered.

I have two and I just checked and they are both there. One is locked down and the other is in a backpack within a secure chest.

probably some simple explanation. Perhaps I moved them and foprgot, though the box they were in is still there. thanks
