Dirt on flat ground - blocks?

I didn't think that made the terrain invalid to place houses on, even if the edges of the foundation doesn't touch it. Is there any way to place anyway? I've seen several houses that has dirt underneath them, is there some sort of legal trick to do it?

Try placing in the enhanced client. I've noticed some differences between the two clients with house placement. Sometimes, CC will work where EC will not, and sometimes it's EC that works.

Ok, nice idea...but since I've been forced to place a house now, is there a way to replace it or do I run into the 1 week timer thing?

In theory, if the account has no other house, and you drop this one, you *should* be able to place again immediately. I say *Theory* and *should* because for unknown reasons, sometimes the 7 day timer still hits.

If its the dirt that high lights when your cursor moves over it. that is the dirt patches left over from the Solen event when they first were introduced into the game. Those patches were suppose to be cleaned up. Page a GM say Solen event dirt patch is blocking your house placement please remove it.

It doesn't highlight when placing the cursor over though, I think its part of the landscape.

i stood under my sign, i wish to resize my house, house confirmation window informing you anything inside will drop to the ground (IE, dont have your stuff inside when you do this), then you have 1 hour to try placing.

Those patches were suppose to be cleaned up. Page a GM say Solen event dirt patch is blocking your house placement please remove it.

there's multiple patches near me... i come on every day and page. gm fliper keeps sending the generic "sorry we cannot help ye, because we could give less than a rats arse about actually understanding these are bugged solen dirt and we are supposed to help remove them for you"

I had an incident with Fiper so it's funny you mentioned him. Dude should be fired because he isn't doing his job. [I paged about an item several times which he then lost despite me telling him I shouldn't put it on the ground because it would probably decay quickly... and oh! It decayed! Imagine that.]
