With today's changes, the legacy options, etc KR is heading towards the capability to be a blurry clone of 2D - and that's a good thing for it's approval by the players.
Once the devs have managed to produce something that looks and behaves exactly like 2D but with the the bells and whistles of the new client plus options to turn on/off blurriness, the inability to use vendors, muddy ground etc then we will see it starting to be used more.
This is what they should have done in the first place. Given us a replacement for 2D that was a very small migration and provide all the other stuff as options we could decide to use if we wanted to and to impress new players.
