Died in trap corridor, where is my body???

It seems to just be gone. And that really really sucks. I thought on beta it like went to the end of the corridor, but I don't see it anywhere!

Yeah... its ah... just gone. Thats so annoying. I had a bag full of ingredients, and other stuff that took me several hours to acrue, and my best suit. Just dissapeard.

Ok, heres what happened...when I died the silver sapling seed offered to res me, and I accepted. It teleported my body to the spot, but deleted everything on my corpse, except oddly the pile of rune stones I had. Unless I was looted, but I don't *think* I was.

So... fair warning, do not use the silver seed to res if you should die in the corridor because your stupid mouse click moves you 2 spaces instead of one.

Yea that Silver Sapling thing is pretty misleading IMO. Since it tells you that you will be rezzed with ALL your belongings. I discovered this was false when I got overconfident in my peacing abilities with some liche type spawns,hehe.

Same, mostly because the gump for the compass extends past the actual compass, and fif you right click on the invisible area, it closes until you move again.
I didn't realise the details first, and I just found it easier in the end.
Wouldn't work so well in SA though...

If you die in the maze corridor your body gets teleported back to the start, and a message appears telling you as much. At least thats what happened when I died there.

What possibly happened is a double-teleport that caused things to poof from your body. Your body poofed to the front of the maze, then when you took the sapling rez, it poofed to the tree. Did you happen to check and see if you had a corpse in both locations? Would be interesting to know. I will test that tonight.

If it happens again, try using ctrl-shift. Every tile in that hallway is an 'item' instead of 'ground' (to phrase it poorly). It's possible your body was under one of the tiles.

Assuming none of the other suggestions have it, either.
