Didn't they revert all the dyed Swampies?

I saw a guy in Luna last night riding a bright red swampie.

Is this a regular color for them, or is this a missed remnant of the exploit?

I think it stays the same color until someone dismounts you. As long as you stay mounted I believe it lasts indefinately.

I had mine dyed with the light olive from the slimes and as soon as I jumped off, the swampie reverted to the iron color.

My deeds that were dyed light olives have reverted back to regualr color.

But strange, the deeds I dyed with the dark blue slimes still show the color. I have not put one on the swampie to see if the color will be retained.

My tamer refuses to get off his! His is dyed fire orange and it's gonna stay that way as long as i can. Maybe finally the dye will soak into the armor.

Wowsers... Someone really needs a life when the thing they look forward to doing ingame is trying to get other players into trouble and or cause them to lose something the tattle tail does not have simply because if they can not have it then no one can have it. I am a security officer in RL and I am not even this bad. I see a new comedy movie coming from this... Kith Kanan: UO Cop. From what I understand is that the swampies will stay dyed till the actual armor wears off the dragon or you use an axe and remove the armor. Only the swampies that were in the stables and the un-used barding deeds were reverted back to iron color. At least that is what I have heard.

Tisk Tisk. Players found something could be done and did it and some payed more then others. Its no different then the color change brought about from the baracoon morph to their precious swampy. Sure that was not meant to happen but an effect they just let go. The frenzy or Hiryu become a horse when mounted in ratform. Then return to normal when you get off. (Dirty minds need not respond.) There is a really wide line when it comes to game mechanics. They only know what side of that line is considered crossed.

On that note I still want to know what event handed out the sigil dyed Hooded Shroud of Umbra. See that is an abuse of game mechanics and nothing is being done. Go well with my other post of a character needing to send a few months locked in the Luna Stockade.
