Tell your story
4 of my 6 chars are from 1999 - i log them on every day an play with them...had to delete one char forced by OSI (used a prominent's name from Hollywood, seems like he didnt like it...but still got his AoS sandals rofl..) The name of my first char i created i used and use in every online game i play since 1996...its all history..I wonder how many others still play their first character, I might make a thread sometime.
I was on!!I logged in tonight on a char i havent played in awhile. I looked at the guild roster and saw that in the past 3 months there has been 4 pep logged in . There is 39 pages of members in the guild so roughly over 300 different chars ,although most people have many chars in the guild there was basicly 50 or so members. It just made me sad to think most of my friends ill never see again![]()
GOOD GOD YOUR AN OFFICER!!!!!!!!!! I take back every good thing I have said about youI guess I should tell my story too.... I was a fan of Ultima since I got Ultima IV for Christmas in 2nd grade (for the Commadore 64, whoo whoo!). In 97, I made an insane decision and went to the military academy for 4 years, then a year of infantry training, then a year in Korea, then a year in Iraq, and then FINALLY was able to open an account in the beginning of 2005. A couple months after I started playing, I met Milkbone in RL and transferred my main char from ATL to Chessy since he had been on Chessy since 98 or 99 or something like that. I've been playing ever since, but never had lots of bulk time to dedicate (work, marriage, children, deployments, etc) but I do what I can. Integrating myself into the pvp lifestyle has been much more fullfilling for me than pvm grinds... probably because I don't have the time to be really good at the pvm thing. Pvp just doesn't take as much time and is immediately gratifying. My wife opened an account after we got married and I got my kids accounts too for when they get older (yeah, I use em a little... but not too much honestly). I maintain a RL relationship with Milkbone mostly through this game, which is pretty cool since we haven't lived in the same place since 2007 and been through 3 or 4 deployments between the two of us since then.
Love the game, may it last forever!
hahaahaa!GOOD GOD YOUR AN OFFICER!!!!!!!!!! I take back every good thing I have said about you![]()
I am playing Baja now too. I wasn't a Ranger I was a LRSD tell him if he wants we can do it therehahaahaa!
My husband who also was in the military will once in a while say while playing.... If only I had 15 rangers....
I wasn't LRSD but I was ranger... but I don't play baja. But if he comes to chessy.... RLTW!I am playing Baja now too. I wasn't a Ranger I was a LRSD tell him if he wants we can do it there![]()
That does explain it all who was Milkbone with?I wasn't LRSD but I was ranger... but I don't play baja. But if he comes to chessy.... RLTW!
Milkbone wasn't a ranger... but he was LRSD. I'm sure he'd be down too.
HA HA! And people wonder why we are friends.... pooooooop
101stThat does explain it all who was Milkbone with?
We gonna have problems? LOLGOOD GOD YOUR AN OFFICER!!!!!!!!!! I take back every good thing I have said about you![]()
Nah us E6s have been outsmarting you for yearsWe gonna have problems? LOL![]()
Are you sure you want us to do that? Next thing you know we will be dressing alike and talking in jargon that nobody else understandsOkay you 'old' military chest beaters, is it time to start your own thread to recruit for a guild? I'd love to see it happen. Come on! One of you do it!
Don't you worry my friend... I have left all officer status behind what... uh, year and a half ago now and am firmly in the civilian world. As for Mr. Milkbone, he is an NCO through and through and through again. Retirement looms, but the NCO stays forever! Now Lord Drago... I'm pretty sure he out-ranks us all.Are you sure you want us to do that? Next thing you know we will be dressing alike and talking in jargon that nobody else understands. Not to mention the smoking and carring on that happens if you get more then one airborne soldier in a 20 mile area. That being said maybe its time for an airborne night on Chesy. Even if most of them are officers I can probably get them to learn. What do you think Milk and Nogo?
not sure we have the numbers to take LD on head to head if they pull the 15+ they can on chessy. and, i'm not sure how we can find a night sober enough to do such a thing. ha ha ha, i'm down though, you know it's true.I am pretty sure your right. Drago is a Pointer if memory serves. That being said what do you think about us just taking over fel for a few nights. I think we have the skills to do it and I know we are tactically sound enough.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! I think there are more than anyone thinks though...To bad there are just not enough paratrooper geeks.
I know thats for sure. Hell I am old school geek grew up playing D&D. Read comics the whole 9.ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! I think there are more than anyone thinks though...
Yeck yeah! And you 'girls' always dress alike and carry on!Are you sure you want us to do that? Next thing you know we will be dressing alike and talking in jargon that nobody else understands. Not to mention the smoking and carring on that happens if you get more then one airborne soldier in a 20 mile area. That being said maybe its time for an airborne night on Chesy. We haven't yet but that is possible. I am also on Baja so I can work with him there. I dobut that Milk and Nogo can be lured but who knows if we set up a beer on a string...Yeck yeah! And you 'girls' always dress alike and carry on!The 'Old Goat' doesn't have a char on Chessy other than a newbie and he doesn't have time these days to train up a char. hmmm.. Maybe with a little help (wait a sec.. reality check.. a lot of help) I can train up a char for him. Have you all figured out what templates you have and what you would need to complement the troop?
