<grins> Any way you guys can setup a smaller but same software rev server as your test bed? When I was programming I always had access to a smaller Unix platform for my work and if I crashed something or it was otherwise borked, it hurt no one but me and the other programming staff. Can't tell you how many times a simple experiment wiped 2 years of data on that box!
We do, but in this case it wasn't something I could make use of due to limitations on licensing for the bridge associated with what I was working on. It doesn't allow us to install a second instance for use as a "Dev" installation, considering adjustments to the color palette in Xenforo doesn't require any manual coding, I wasn't worried about "breaking" anything in this case, just at 1 a.m. my head was fuzzy enough that I forgot to change it back
To be honest in addition to our test environment, I have my own server sitting in my living room, that I test many things on as proof in concept prior to moving them to our dev/test environment, which is useful since I have my own personal licenses for not only Xenforo but a number of the plugins we make use of here, but again that wasn't practical in this situation.
