Ok ...... I am feeling a bit confused..... but did I miss something?

I thought in the last publish or two ago we were supposed to be able to stack things like, Arcane gems, Sand, Granite, and some other things.....

Is it just me or am I dreaming? I am quite sure none of those things I have stack..... I also thought we were supposed to be able to stack those stinking chocolate ingredients.... am I hallucinating or is that incorrect?

Did that happen or not???? I'm so confused.

believe they added all those with pub 56. might be an issue where old existing items wont stack.

Just like when they made pots stack, some do some dont.

I have ALOT of items what should stack but don't, same ID same name same graphics.

Feather, bolts, arrows bandies the list goes on and on.

Latest is threads of fate life and thought.

Bah just another feature we have to deal with.

yea it seems to be with items that existed before the publish dont always stack with newly made items. i know alot of times the arrows/bolts that autorecover to my pack wont always stack with other arrows/bolts. just something that needs tweaked some more

Yea I was mining yesterday and got some granite, It was stacking just fine but when I got back to my house it wouldnt stack with the granite I already had before the publish. And the granite I had before the publish wont stack with the other granite I had before the publish, so only things we get after the publish will stack... If that makes any sence..

I get alot of threads that stack in 2's, others wont stack at all. I end up with units of 1,2, or more. I still see that old bug where piles gold dont stack together. Maybe the new items are just bugged as well.

Threads aren't meant to all stack. Using spirit speak on them gives different messages, therefore they don't all have the same item ID
granite before the publish weigh 10 stone each. New granite weighs 1 stone - therefore they won't stack.

Old smoke and egg bombs won't stack. New ones will. They are not bugged, your understanding is incomplete.

Well that just stinks...... So the 400 piles of granite, arcane gems, and stupid chocolate stuff won't stack so I will not get any help with the 100's of items in my house...... that's just ..... *frowns*....

Arrrr, they needs an NPC ta exchange pre-patch fer post-patch items!

Try finding someone on your shard that uses those items regularly for crafting and see if they'll either A) buy it off you and then buy/replace them with post-publish items or B) Gets their own items, but is willing to trade you for the non-stacking since they use it up quickly.

It's an idea and can't hurt to try.

Petra this is the second time oyu have spoken about using spirit speak on the threads what are oyu doing i dont see it working and when the items oyu are talking about are ID with many different methods they all have the same ID,

i will say for about the third time that threads DO stack if you take the time to redrop them into your pack. i have/had (as i have turned alot of them in) stacks of threads as large as 69 in a stack. just have to be smarter then the threads

The threads do stack, but it depends upon the message the thread gives you. I'm not sure about spirit speak, but I have just double clicked the threads in my pack and they give a message.

i still have alot of things that are not stacking. wood, ignots, arrows, red leaves, etc
