Did anyone else log into chessy today as an Avatar?

As i'm on a rather horrible laptop I didn't even try to get a screenshot, but tonight while on my chessy character I crashed during the miasma invasion of luna bank, I logged back in and my character had changed into some sort of blue Meer Avatar, I saw a few others, but not the same, any idea why this happened? April fools maybe?

I logged in on one of my chars and it was an Avatar. Saw a few running around Luna and, I think, one at the Township Summit meeting.

I have no idea what that was all about though.

As for myself, I logged into all 24 of my Ches. Chrs. and NOTHING !

According to some on UO Hall they suggested I dismount my chrs. unarm and then maybe the April Fools day Avatar would happen to my chrs. *sigh* nope nada nothing.

I logged onto my 4 Siege Chrs. too, yesterday & zip zero nada.

So maybe the real joke for April Fools Day is some of us have this happen to our chrs. & some of us, do not ! dunno lol

To get it to work for me (only tried human characters) I had to log in, dismount, log out and then log back in for it to work. Just dismounting didn't do it. Too little, too late, but....

Sorry to hear that. I noticed that they turned on the April Fools stuff before 10pm (central time) on the 31st, so perhaps they shut it off after 24 hours.

That said, I was playing on my laptop using the classic client, and while I greatly appreciate the sentiment, and got a chuckle out of it, it wasn't something i would loose sleep over had I missed it.

Out of curiosity, did you play Lake Austin right when it opened up?

I might have explored Lake Austin when it first opened up, but I really do not remember.

I have been on Ches. since 98, and Siege too since 2004. The only other shard I ever was on for a couple of years time was Europa, when they had had a huge roleplaying batch of people there, some many yrs. ago.
