Devs,
Please kindly remove the "Faction Point System" totally as it serves no purpose to encourage pvp at all. There are much more cons than pros for keeping "Faction Point System"
1. The faction system are based on a % to reach rank 10. Rank 10 = 10% of the total population in the faction if i am correct. Which means that if 10% pvmers just farm points and reached 50 pts, then the requirement for pvpers to reach rank 10 would be over 50 pts.
To explain, this is ridiculous as I alone already have 20 pvp chars stand by needing to kill enemies constantly for getting points.
2. To be honest, the faction thief steal sigil system also do not benefit me as a working person, I do not have 4 hours gameplay to sit there and wait for it to corrupt. It only benefit those who could continously farm points without effort of participating in wars at all.
There are no one guarding sigils thus making getting 80 pts for people who have time on hand and no pvp experience way too easy.
3. If you see the problem, majority or even ALL, the highest point holders are really "ONLY" point holders. You will never really see these people come out and pvp you at all. So again, is this encourage pvp or encourage abusing the farming point system just to wear the better faction armors??
4. Since all pvmers who never come to Felucca are wearing the Faction armor to fight monsters in Trammel,Malas,Ish,Tokuno. Alright, so leaving h3ll to the pvpers in Felucca to struggle with daily kill points and daily unequipped risk after the server updates. Is this encourage pvp again?
All I know is that in many cases, when a pvper logs on suddenly 1 day, and find out that their armor is not on their body anymore. They just simply wont pvp that day. This is NOT encouraging more pvp in Felucca. This is indirectly Discouraging pvp instead.
5. Many pvm guilds in trammel, abuse this method by creating opposing faction thieves and steal. Then killing by the 3x points char method for their own members so their own members could reach Rank 10 for all chars the next day.
When the actual pvpers have got enough kill points then the pvmers will realize that the points needed to rank 10 need more. So continously doing the same method for farming more again.
Ending up that the requirement of being Rank 10 is ridiculously high.
Anyways, I hope Devs you would consider this issue. Faction point is no longer proving anything in Faction at all in the current state. Please remove it totally. Or please remove the RANK requirement for the faction items.
