How about creating an item (you can call it a Stat Pole or something) which would work like a soulstone but for stats. If I was to dump my 125 Strength onto the stat pole it would drop my strength to 10. Make them account bound once used. They can be vet reward, big boss drops or tinkerer created.
I know adjusting stats when switching templates is not the hardest thing to do but it would make sense to have an item like this to go along with soulstones.
