I think this will be great.

A bag that holds a set of armour, 2 pieces of jewelry, a shield, and one weapon.

The bag is called a Warriors Footlocker.

It has to be made by a tinker.
The ingredients are bought from an NPC.
The ingredients cost 25k

The tinker can make it and sell it for a nominal mark up.

Once you place your stuff in the bag.

You simple scroll over it (WHEN ON A VENDOR) and it gives you the total information ofnthe suit.
You can exclude pieces if you want.
Just do a suit no weapon or jewelry whatever.
BUT WHEN ON a vendor a price must be set to purchase it. It cant sit.

You drop your pieces in.
You drop it on a vendor.
A player can highlight the bag and see..
total resists
total mana regen, hit regen, etc
total defense increase
total LRC, LMC

Etc. All the data.

You could keep a bag at home to do the same thing but at home you have to click a button that says provide details.

YOU ONLY GET 10 USES or something.

I think this would be easy to implement.

Heck let them get recharged x1
Tinkers can make the charges.

What do you all think?

I like it. Gives tinkers something sellable to craft/recharge. Would be nice to have at times.

I like the idea! Not so sure about the charges... maybe have no cap on the amount of charges, but it starts with 10, this way a tinker could sell them with just the 10 or charge it WAY up, and sell it for more. I'm just thinking of using it to build viable suits out of all the random stuff I have sitting around, and having to recharge every 10 uses... if it could be charged way up (255 max?) then it would be more convieient to use.

Also, maybe's it's interface could be sort of like a paperdoll, in that it has slots you drop each piece into?

Overall excellent idea!!

You are aware that KR has this as part of the character info available? And no recharging needed, either!

Well this allows you to store suits in a house and see what you have rather then put them on in KR.

And this allows you to bag a set of something and sell it with ease. The info is there right on bag so to speak.
Its a big help for vending.

I'm sure some people are aware of this and some are unaware. KR's ability to tot up your resists on a suit you are wearing has however, got nothing to do with the OP's idea whatsoever.

Can KR tell you the total resists and abilities of a bag of armour in a chest? No. Or on a Vendor? No. Or locked down on a table in your house? No.

Whilst KR's ability to show these things on WORN armour is great, the OP's idea is also excellent from both a usefulness point of view, with more than one application, and from a goldsink point of view. And its something else for the tinkers to do which is good too.

I also think this is a great idea. Anything that makes tedious tasks less annoying, I'm all for. However, i would be against the charges.

I like the idea but I doubt my customers will pay suit price + 25k for a bag with a suit of armor.
Forget the idea about goldsink, at least on Siege. We do sell cheap suits for easy picks for the PvP'ers, suits that may be lost again very fast.

Some sort of charge or usuage max would be needed or it will fail as a gold sink.

But I think it is easy to implement something like this and would boost tinkers and merchants.

Plus you could keep several bags at your house for luck suits, damage suits, dex suits.

It would be great.

Siege would need an adjustment.

Hell, I'd like a bag like this just for using in my house to use with armor pieces for making suits.
