Devs: PLEASE leave ToTs on for Siege

Devs,

Please leave the ToTs on for Siege Perilous. We do not have item insurance and need them left on so that new players and the not-so-adept at PvP can have access to some decent items without having to be in factions. The divide between factioners and non-factioners is too big without this!

At least 3 out of every 4 Siegers want this!!!!!

And if possible, we would also like for you to give us a way to hunt for cursed artifacts as well. (we prefer one to drop on each corpse of a boss that we kill in the doom gauntlet. Non-cursed artifact drops need not change.)

The poll that you posted on the Siege boards shows that 39 out of 55 want them left on and 16 do not. That is less than the 3 out of 4 Siegers you claim want this.

As you can clearly see theres a TOTAL of 55 people that voted for this and there is MANY more people who play on SP...second of all i do play SP...i would also like to say alot of people that did vote yes dont even play SP anymore but he just kept them on there for his benefit...and if you wanna be completely honest drax you barely play sp your damn self your always on atlantic...i would also like to say his best friend(unforsaken) voted no...

While I appreciate your efforts to try and get Siege something, the truth is, the Devs don't seem to care. *pokes DEVS with stick* We've asked for many things in the past year after taking polls and getting a consensus amongst the shard only to be ignored. Many of these things would have helped to fix the issues we have on Siege that are present due to "unintended consequences" of various updates and additions to the game.

We don't even have an EM.

Maybe they will perk up and prove someone wrong, but I doubt it. Most of the Siege community has lost faith in the support of the DEVs.

You guys hoping for a classic shard, good luck. . .because this is what you have to look forward too.

And Chardonnay, please go back under your rock, it's where you belong.

Truth. I conducted a poll on UOLedger and out of the 215 people who participated (thus far), only 39 people voted no for the launch of a classic/T2A server. That's roughly 82% of the people polled who either want or wouldn't mind a classic server, yet it's not been implemented.

Of course there are the difficulties in combining the old/classic features with all of the modern UO changes, patching, etc., but for a multi-billion dollar company like EA I'm sure it is a possibility.

The bottom line is that the developers will do what they want to do. The paying subscribers can offer as much input as they want, but considering years ago somebody repeatedly submitted an item duplication method to the bugs team that went ignored says something. The dupe was ultimately posted in public by the submitter out of outrage that the EA team had ignored his inquiries. Needless to say that once it went public the bug was fixed in no time.

We can only dream.

We do not have item insurance on Siege (nor do we want it) and therefore the game mechanics and the way loot is earned, distributed and retained is different. We do not obtain a handful of these items, insure them and then use them forever. Imagine if replica's were an event that lasted only a few weeks? The masses would cry and moan because as soon as the stock piles wore thin... no one could enjoy those items any longer.

A shard with special rules deserves special considerations.

I have never voiced any angry opinions about Seige. I think it's great players have the option of playing on this Shard and I've considered playing myself. How is this an angry decision? I'm just stating you're crazy if you think you get special privileges for playing on a particular shard that runs with different mechanics than others. It doesn't mean you get longer event times. It doesn't mean you get better drops.
How in the world do you think your shard is so much better than others that you get off DEMANDING the Devs to extend your dates for the ToT? Seige isn't BETTER, nor would it be if you lengthened ToT, and I'm pretty sure those who aren't crazed over arties and gold would agree that ToT has run it's course. It's a dead horse that continues to get beat, over and over and over again.

Okay, I'm not going to lie and say I read every reply here in full.. But, the Treasures of Tokuno program is ending and that's all we know thus far. Siege Perilous is meant to be a more advanced server for experienced players, so implementing something like ToT on Siege Perilous long-term while disabling it on the other production servers is really pointless. It just downright violates what Siege Perilous is all about-- having to strive to succeed and not just kill creatures for rares and high-end items.

Even though I don't play Siege, I feel I still have a good enough reason to vote "no" when it comes to keeping the ToT active long-term on the shard. Like I said, it just would go against what Siege was originally intended for.
