Do you think there's any possibility this might have been changed in connection with the "classic PvP" server that's supposed to open soon? Were field spells ever subject to these restrictions before?
No, they were not.
I never saw any talk of changes that were going to be made... And I don't remember how fielding worked before AOS, so I'm not sure if this is effected by the Classic Shard coding or something that was accidentally added to the normal shards.
I play a thief, so for me it's good, but it sucks when trying to reveal others. I just don't think it should have been changed. It's really very annoying...
