Devs... No Black Staffs and carp and fletching runic changes???

I was wondering why carpenters aren't able to craft Black Staffs. Was this just a mess up on the dev team for not including it in carpentry or something else?

Also, what's up with not including bowcraft/fletching and carpentry in runic changes?

[/ QUOTE ]We've had some alarming results on the archery/bowyer forum, where people, me included, have burned heartwood kits, at a cost of 16 million gold or 200,000 boards and nearly 3000 heartwood bowyer quests each, to be left with 12-15 bows that instantly went to the trash barrel because they were simlpy not worth keeping.

I've burned one heartwood and two Yew kits, that's 65! charges, and got ONE single bow I deemed worth keeping.

Yeah Fletcher/Bowyer kits definitely need looking at.

Might be because of how different wood is to metal and leather when it comes to crafting bonuses.

[/ QUOTE ]I _REALLY_ wish they'd consolidate all different crafting systems to one single uniform system. UO is so weird right now. Nothing works like anything else. Blacksmithy, Tailoring and tinkering needs to work like Carpentry and Bowcrafting currently does. I believe that was the plan for SA (might have dreamt that tho).

They seriously need to make a Point System for the Heartwood Carpentry/Fletching Quests like they did with Doom. At least then us legit players would know we have SOME chance at getting a Kit, because with each quest done our chance increases instead of some RNG crap shoot.
