hi devs, would be great if we could get a heads up on new vet rewards ty

Place an item in, set a timer, set a minimum bid. Everyone places their bids, when the timer is up the person with the highest bid gets access probably.

I have no Idea..... how else would you get Bids? It's not like people could see it unless they are building an "auction" search... or something. It's interesting though. I believe they said it would be a year one Vet reward.

Might be for auction events... rather than putting the item on a vendor and anyone getting access (re: having to use the honor system for people to not grab it off the vendor).

Sounds like a good idea actually.

sounds good, if it works. what happens if the person doesnt have the gold to cover the bid? does it go down to next highest bidder? how do you get the item? this seems like it could be a nice feature but implementation seems extremely difficult. can the owner delete bids he suspects are troll bids? is there a timer, or way to set a "ten minut rule," (if not itll just come down to split second snipe)

personally i dont think i would use it simply because theres too much room for abuse. hell the owner could just drive up the bids. for "real" auctions a huge human element is involved in analyzing bids.

interesting idea but i dont think it will be a hit.
