Devs: Armslore Bonus

Would you all consider allowing crafters to apply the armslore bonus to crafted armor manually. It is SUCH a pain to burn through hundreds if not thousands of resources and hours of time trying to get those bonus resists in certain places. I am certain I am not alone in this boat, and would much rather be out engaging in activities with friends than standing in my house at an anvil hitting make max for hours...

I guess I don't understand. Isn't that what imbuing was for?

No, imbuing goes on top of the armslore bonus. For instance, if I know I need to imbue up fire resist for a sampire suit, I want as low of fire resist on the base piece as possible... otherwise those resists that you imbue over are wasted. It may seem trivial for folks who run in an ok, or even better than average suit... but when you have exactly the same number of resists needed in a suit as are available via normal crafting, it can be a huge pain to get them all in the right spot so that you don't have to waste a slot imbuing up a resist.

Also when you make suits, you can fill 5-6 parts with 70/75 resist in 3 types - so the need to imbue resist is minimazed till 2 resist types. Therefore you need perfect parts to work witl.

Heck, I would be ok with something like a special 500 use sewing kit, smith hammer, mallet made available in the turn in system that would allow it.

Ahh yes the quest for the Perfect Armor! It drives some people insane!

It was tough enough a process to combine it with imbuing, but once you got the right piece for each slot you were set. Now with reforging you may need 15-20 of each piece to reforge hoping to get the right mix of mods on top of the right mix of resists... And if course the real $ forged metal tool to enhance after. I can live with the reforging and the enhancing, but to spend hours mindlessly wasting raw materials trying to get a bonus that I had to work the skill for to get applied in just the right spot seems like a waste of what could be fun game play time. It would seem like a pretty easy fix... Just add another sub menu (like where you select your material type) that lets you allocate the armslore points available based on your skill level.

I like this idea. A good compromise that preserves the randomness of the exceptional bonus but gives the crafter a little more control over what they make (as well as a little more justification for the 100 skill points).
