Probably way too soon to tell. I believe its suppose to be up for at least 2 months unless it is very popular. In which case it might be around longer. They will probably wait for a more definite answer as it really hasn't been up long at all.
It would be awesome if they closed Seige and subed in the SOTD. It has all the crap people love to hate Seige for and more.
But they NEED to remove Glass swords and then delete all the code for it, and never ever even think about them again, and all would be good.

I think the Devs are trying to get through to some people what the game experience was like for those who left pre-Trammel UO for other games until Trammel was provided as a place the game could be fun.

I opened my first account in June of 98. I remember those days well, Hally mages were at least 2 hitters and they had to land the hally strike.
I don't mind a dirt nap, but it should at least be a fight. I have yet to meet anyone, but the devs, who think Glass Swords are a good idea.
The SOTD is a far cry from the pre Tram days, but it was still fun, for the most part.

Risk versus Reward was balanced. Glass swords have nothing to do with risk vs reward.
This games not fun when risk vs reward is broken.

I am going to have to refuse to count them though, as I never really got a chance to meet them, haha.
If this ever happened and they closed siege i would kindly appreciate the reimbursment for 13 years of gameplay on multiple accounts plus every penny ive spent on soulstones and anything else sold on uogamecodes. Thank you very much. If they offered a character transfer then i would hope they would place our houses in the same locations and deleted everyone elses houses.It would be awesome if they closed Seige and subed in the SOTD. As you can see the closing of siege would be like the closing of whatever shard you are from sir. Imagine people talking about removing everything you have worked for before speaking.
I dont mean to offend anyone but all this nonsense bout closing siege when some of us have spent as much time as the rest of you all on trammel shards is a bit mean and degrading. quit frankly im offended by it.

1. Made a Shard which almost Copies Siege (Which might steal some of Sieges "Light" or "Attraction")
2. Put in Systems to "Bypass" the Skill problem (Something Siege coulda used)
3. Put in a System for Cursed Arties (Something Siege has been asking for for a Long time now)
4. Actually Gets attention and Dev Responce.
As i Siege Player, this shard is a nice kick in the teeth IMO, but hey, Im just that, a Siege Player, My Opinion is void as far as the devs are concerned.
