I finally caught a devil ray at 9:42 am est on Elm st in Daisy Gardens. The district was Wacky Falls.
Clydesdale Sea Horse also pulled from the same pond 4 minutes later.

I've been chasing the Devil Ray for months now and finally caught it yesterday too....on my son's toon he set up for a his grandfather (new toon but months old, never used,17 laff) (insert crying icon). It wouldn't be so sad if this was a toon that actually got played
But he made it for his Grandpa when he was visiting so he could see toontown.
I had logged onto that account for only a minute to take this toon fishing for jellybeans. He had something in his cattlelog I knew my daughter would love. Took him to Toontown Central...but my fishing was off and I couldn't keep my rod straight in the water there (I take fishing far too seriously on toontown LOL) Anyways I was on my way to The Burrrgh via Minnie's Melody on Baritone Blvd...seen the fishing spot there and decided to try it out.
Only a few buckets later, and trying each fishing spot out, I was about ready to go check his jellybean total to see if I had enough to buy what I needed to gift to my DD's toon. Looked away...looked back to recast and there was a devil ray on my line. I froze. I know how to take a screen shot but at that moment it had escaped me LOL... I quickly gathered my senses and captured this shot though. And now I just wish I could redo this scenario only with my main toon fishing.. sigh...
And now Grandpa is the coolest toon in our house..out of 6 accounts with multiple toons on each one.. and it was that toon with the twig rod LOL Go figure LOL
