Dev Question - Please do something about the lack of public rubbish bins.

I’ve submitted this to the “ask the dev” section several times… and it seems like this section is answered very rarely, if at all. Last post is from MAY! For crying out loud. How can our questions get answers if they are never allowed to be posted?

I have been asking this for years:

Isn't it about time ALL the shards had proper public rubbish bins?

If you have ever traveled/explored the Asian shards… they seam to have multiple bins at almost every bank. Their guards are also far better dressed then ours… but I just don’t understand what the hang up is… why it's better to have rubbish flung all over the ground when people are too lazy to dump it someplace else? I’ve herd the excuse that the Asian shards have a totally different staff… but why not take from their good example? I’ve also herd the excuse that newbies find items of value this way… picking cotton is more valuable. I mean, please… give me a break.

Atlantic Rubbish Bins:

1 - Vesper (Bank)
1 - Tokuno - Makoto-Jima city (bank)
2 - Britain City, WEST (bank)
2 - Laggy Luna (bank)

That’s it! Not even in New haven… not in New Maginica. Not even in that new gargoyle city from SA.

At one time, through a lot of effort years ago… a bin was placed at Skara Brea (Tram) bank… and then some rocket scientist deleted it. Very disappointing. A step backward for progress.

Please… designers/developers… could we please get some public rubbish bins placed at ALL banks?

I second this! I always thought each bank should have one. I like using the Cove bank since its its so quiet there, but no trash can.

Maybe the Japanese shards have a larger GM staff to keep an eye on all those trash bins in remote locations to make sure they aren't being filled up 'round the clock by scripters.

Maybe they are or were just more interactive.

I honestly have no clue how active they are now vs. years ago… it seems every time I’m off on these Asian shards, they are all but abandoned… and packed with houses. This was before Mesanna and before the town banners… and before the memorials. However, you would see little banners outside houses recognizing some kind of establishment award of some kind. I think they just had a more active staff, in game. Who’s to say they were nothing more then support staff, GMs and looked after things? Run the odd special event… special Japanese holiday content we never see. If you remember the slime event on our shards… it was actually originally on the Asian shards first, as very harmless clothing/cloth dyeing… if you have seen the “Slime dyed cloth” that’s the same color as the energy/cold/fire/poison weapon colors. What we got was extremely difficult murdering slimes that dyed artifacts.

I mean… our staff somewhat copied the slime theme. I guess I should have mentioned that before. Dressing up the banks would have gone awhile back from that point.
