Detect Hidden Question

UO Theif forums is very slow and no answer in a week so I will ask here.

I am using DH for chests in Exodus Dungeon. I was wondering if it should be taken to 100 or is it more like stealth that you can lock at 80 unless you are using it for PvP?

Another thing I am wondering about is Ninjitsu and stealing. Are smokebombs supposed to be on the same timer as hiding/stealing or am I bugged?

Yea I get the skill message on the smoke bombs too I think that is how they work. I used my detect down there at 65(before that one patch) then I tried it at 80 and GM. I could find the boxes with 80 but it seemed like it took me more tries to get the box to show than when I had GM detect I was walking by boxes and not getting the message at 80. I guess it is like a thunter and mining you can get by with 80 but you will save time having GM.

Yes the smokebombs are on the same timer as hiding. Otherwise it would be OP.
I believe the higher your DH skill the more likely you are to reveal, with a chance to passive reveal at GM.
