Demand for Essence and Residue?

As I was banging away on mobs tryin to make some money I got to thinking(as I`m throwing away all this potential imbue stuff). Is there much of a demand for essence and residue? It`s the one thing I could do right now even if I sold it dirt cheap I could at least have another source of income.

If it would be something peaple would buy I would start working on the unraveler.....next question would be, what are they worth?
